People from across Bicester will join together at Bicester Methodist Church to celebrate the Love Bicester week in song. With a final talk by Dr. Michael Green, a British theologian, Anglican priest, Christian apologist and author of more than fifty Christian books.

Many of the churches across Bicester will be meeting together at St. Edburg’s Church to celebrate Palm Sunday and demostrate the unity of Churches in Bicester. Whether you’ve been to church in the past or not, you’re very welcome to join us!
Adults and very young children are invited to stay in church, while for the pre school up to year 6 there will be activities in the Church Hall next door. The leaders will take the children across to the hall during the first songs.
Palm Sunday (28 March) is the Sunday before Easter and we will spend some time together recalling the last days of the life of Jesus before his crucifixion, come along to hear the story and to listen to Stephen Cottrell talk more about Jesus who is alive today.

Bishop Stephen Cottrell is the Bishop of Reading and has written many books including The Emmaus Course; Do nothing to change your life:Discovering what happens when you stop 2007; The things he carried 2008; The things he said 2009.

Blockbuster films like Avatar and IRobot use advanced cinematography to create believable humanoid robotic characters and biological surrogates. At this “Robots, Avatars and Humans” evening Dr Nigel Crook, a researcher at Oxford University who has worked in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for more than 24 years, will present the state-of-the-art in AI technology and will ask if humans are anything more than biological machines. The evening will include live demonstrations of various AI technologies, including a conversation with an animated avatar. Refreshments will be served during the evening.
